When you use the Seatio app, we may collect: identification data (email address, phone number), reservation-related data (name, if provided, selected venue, reservation date and time, number of guests), and technical data collected automatically (device type, operating system, and IP address for security and service operation).

2. How we use data

Collected data is used to create and manage reservations, authenticate users through a one-time verification code (OTP), communicate with users (confirmations and notifications), and improve the app.

3. Data sharing

To complete a reservation, your data (name, phone number, and reservation details) is shared with the selected restaurant. We do not sell or distribute your data to third parties for commercial purposes.

4. Authentication and security

Seatio uses a simplified authentication system: access via email or phone, one-time verification code (OTP), and no traditional password required. Data is protected through appropriate technical measures, including secure HTTPS connections.

5. Location data

The app may use your location to show nearby restaurants. This feature is optional and can be disabled in your device settings.

6. Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure (right to be forgotten), restriction of processing, and data portability. To exercise these rights, you can contact us.

7. Storage period

Data is retained for the duration of app usage or as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy.
